Sem 7 Week 13 - Character Turntable

This is the final week to prepare for our semester 7 final assessment, which we will be finalizing our character model, texture and render the turntable.

Rendering

Before rendering the turntable, our groupmate finalized the boy's texture, another groupmate will be setting up the lighting. When rendering, we found out the boy's hair color became black, which is different from our original brown color. We try to render again while checking on the transparency map.

When our groupmate is rendering the turntable, we also got feedback from lecturer to amend some camera angle and shots in our film.

Challenges Faced

After rendering our character turntable, our groupmate found out the color is too different from the original texture even after adjusting color management when using her computer to render.

Solution

Our groupmate decided to try re-render with school's computer, see the outcome, and manually adjust the color in After Effects with the additional settings available in school's computer.

What's Next?

Now we prepared everything for our assessment, we will put it in our slide and prepare our presentation for next week
