Sem 7 Week 8 - Color Script
After the animatics are done, we are going to start the color script.

While my groupmates are refining their concept art, I took the time to find some references. I found reference from films that we can follow for our color script composition, and also some work examples from lighting artists. I also take note of the important scenes from our film that has different color mood, and list out the main colors we want to use, according to the time and season of our story, so that it is more organized.
One groupmate is doing 3d proxy model with camera angle and pose, and another groupmate is doing the character line art. After that, both of them pass their work to me, and I move on with the coloring.
Time To Paint
After all references are gathered, I draw the base color first, then adding the color mood, shadow, lighting and so on. At the same time, I also send the work and reference for our concept art lecturer to check with it. After a few feedback and changes, I completed my 6 pieces of color script for our short film.

Challenges Faced
The workflow start becoming draggy, color script couldn't start or finish it on time due to previous work still in progress.
Solution
I told my groupmates the work I need for the color script, and they try their best to came out for me first so that I could proceed.
What's Next?
The color script is done, and now I will move on to key art.
